Hi! I’m Nasir.

I make and trade reproduction swords from the American Civil War era. What started out as a fascination with history and old weapons slowly grew into a craft that I’ve built with my own hands.

As a kid, I was always drawn to swords. Old books, war stories, and museum pieces sparked my imagination, and I wanted to know what it would feel like to actually hold one. Later, when I started working at SwordRep, I collected whatever I could get my hands on—cheap replicas, wallhangers, broken pieces—and I enjoyed taking them apart, rebuilding them, and trying to make them look closer to the real thing.

Over time, that curiosity turned into something more serious. I began studying original Civil War swords, their construction, and the details that set them apart. Piece by piece, I taught myself how to reproduce them with care and accuracy. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to connect with collectors, reenactors, and history enthusiasts who share the same passion.

Today, I spend my time building reproductions, creating custom pieces, and trading swords with collectors who are looking for something unique. I enjoy projects where a customer brings me an idea—whether it’s from an old photo, a sketch, or just an idea in their head—and together we turn it into a finished piece.

This work isn’t about mass production. Every sword I handle is part of keeping history alive, whether it’s a faithful reproduction, a custom build, or an antique brought back into circulation through trade.

If you’d like to talk about a custom sword, trade an item, or just connect about Civil War weapons, feel free to reach out. I’m always glad to hear from fellow collectors.
